UBC is grateful to offer our property as a blessing to others. Our basketball hoop, parking area, playground, gaga ball pit, and shelter house with picnic tables and bench full of various sports balls are open for casual recreational use by anyone in the community. The grounds and building may also be used for planned parties or events, but these must be approved and reserved in advance. This privilege is intended for those in the local community and for those connected to our church family. The following criteria will be considered with each requested use:
- The type of use requested will be taken into account and should not be contrary to the mission, purpose, and beliefs of UBC.
- The requesting party should not have such poor conduct from past events or reputation that would endanger the church facilities.
- No event or users should be approved who would likely damage the reputation of Jesus and His church at UBC.
- Church members and attendees will be given preference for scheduling and use of the facilities.
- Users shall willingly and readily agree to the standard rules on the Facility Use Agreement and any additional special rules for each use as outlined by the Elders.
- The requester’s location of residency will be taken into consideration. For users not associated with the church, the intention is to allow the local community (Fultonham, East Fultonham, White Cottage, etc.) to benefit from the facility, but not to operate a banquet hall or rental park.
- Generally, church members, church attendees, and residents of the local community will be permitted to use the facility free of charge. However, on some occasions the Elders may permit a use while also charging a fee. That determination will be made based on the user (relationship, location, etc.) and/or the use (type, length, frequency).
