Those called to serve under the headship of Jesus.

UBC recognizes two Biblical offices of Elder and Deacon. 

Elders

Elders are biblically qualified men who serve in their calling to guide and oversee the church as under-shepherds, including the ministry of God's Word and prayer. They are servant leaders in the church.  At UBC, we are committed to, and seeking, a plurality of Elders to shepherd the church with wisdom, humility, and unity.

Deacons

Deacons are biblically qualified men and women who are giving of themselves in service to the church, and who possess particular gifts of service, and thus are called to serve the church as leading servants.
