UBC News: Resurrection EGGstravaganza & Resurrection Sunday Overflow With Joy and New Life

Uniontown Baptist Church experienced an unforgettable Easter weekend — one filled with laughter, worship, community, and the unmistakable hope of the Risen King.

Resurrection EGGstravaganza Was a Blast! Families gathered for a morning overflowing with excitement. Children listened to the Resurrection Story — and one young voice chimed in, “that’s a true story,” capturing the heart of the day. Face painting brought bright smiles. Kids (and even a few grown‑ups!) dashed across the grounds hunting Easter eggs. Music filled the air as families celebrated life together. Most of all, the event overflowed with fellowship — neighbors, friends, and families united in joy and gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who came, served, and shared the day. He is risen — and His love was felt in every moment.

Resurrection Sunday: A Powerful Morning of Worship The celebration continued as UBC gathered for Resurrection Sunday — and God moved in a remarkable way. For the first time in a very long time, over 100 people filled the sanctuary of this old church building. No parking space could be found.  The worship was vibrant, the message was powerful, and hearts were stirred by the truth of Christ’s victory over the grave.

From playful laughter on Saturday to Spirit‑filled worship on Sunday, Easter weekend at UBC was a vivid reminder that Jesus is alive — and He is at work in His church.  We are so thankful to be witnesses of all that He is doing right here and to join in His Kingdom plans!
