What a weekend at Uniontown Baptist Church!

Thursday kicked off with our Youth at the Alive Music Festival, where they spent a full day — from 7 AM to 2 AM — worshiping, singing, laughing, and being encouraged by believers lifting high the name of Jesus. It was long, loud, joyful, and absolutely worth every minute.

Friday and Saturday brought our men and young men together at The Cabin for the livestream of the 1613 Men’s Conference. We heard from pastors, military heroes, and NFL legends who challenged us to get in the spiritual fight — to lead our homes, our church, and our community with humble boldness. We were reminded to engage worship as war, to press‑check our weapon (the Bible) again and again, and to stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder as eternal brothers in Christ.

Then Sunday delivered a surprise. A power outage knocked out electricity at the church from Saturday into Sunday morning, and it wasn’t expected to return until nearly the end of service. But we chose to gather anyway — because the Holy Spirit’s power is never dependent on electrical power. And in God’s kindness, as we pulled into the parking lot, the lights came on almost the exact minute we arrived.

It was a weekend full of worship, challenge, brotherhood, and joy. Praise God for His goodness to our church family.
