On Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 UBC delivered 28 Christmas Backpacks to the SCBO—each one a bundle of hope and joy for children living in poverty and families across Appalachia. Inside every backpack are toys, necessities, comfort items, and most importantly, the real story of Christmas (Jesus' Birth) and a Bible.
We began with a simple goal of 10 backpacks, but through the generosity of our church family, God multiplied that vision into 28 backpacks overflowing with love and the Good News of Christ.
A heartfelt thank you to our brothers and sisters at UBC for investing in the Kingdom by investing in those in need of practical help and the eternal hope found in Jesus. We now know 28 more children and many families will receive the Gospel message and the blessing of practical needs met this Christmas! Praise God! Father, send your Word out and open their hearts for the greatest gift, your Son!
